FAQs

What Is Morph?

Morph is Slynk's automation app for bulk updates and deletes. A morph usually fetches data, filters it, and then updates or deletes the matching records.

How Do I Create a Morph?

Every morph starts from a template. You choose either a base template or a solution, review the settings, then simulate and activate the morph when you are ready.

What Is the Difference Between a Base Template and a Solution?

A base template is the more blank starting point for a data type. A solution is more pre-configured for a particular goal.

Do I Need Technical Skills to Use Morph?

No, but you do need to understand the outcome you want. Morph is designed so you can build automations through the dashboard without writing code.

Can You Help Me Set Morph Up?

Yes. We offer onboarding help and can review morphs with you if you want a second check before they go live.

How Does Sign-Up Work?

You install Morph through the Epos Now App Store. After that, you receive a welcome email with your dashboard access details, or guidance to reset your password if you already have a Slynk account.

Do unused actions or runs roll over?

No. Unused actions and runs do not roll over into the next billing period.

What Counts Toward Morph Usage?

Morph usage is based on successful actions and successful app runs. You can find out more in our Actions and Usage article.

Do Failed Actions Count Towards My Usage?

No. Only successful actions count toward your action usage.

Do Simulated Runs Count Towards My Usage?

No. Simulations are for testing and previewing a morph before it is activated, and they do not count toward billed action or run usage.

What Happens When I Reach My Plan Limit?

Morph can notify you by email as you approach your action or run limit. Once you hit a limit, further actions or runs stop processing until your usage resets or you upgrade your plan.

If this happens during a run, you can see it in the Runs page status information.

What Happens If Epos Now API Limits Are Reached?

Morph can automatically retry when Epos Now API or quota limits are reached, and the run details show the retry timing in the status information.

When Does My Usage Reset?

Your usage resets on the billing day for your Morph app on the Epos Now App Store.

Can I Upgrade or Downgrade?

Yes. You can do that through the Epos Now App Store. Upgrades are pro-rated and downgrades take effect from the next billing date.

Will There Be Any Downtime While Morph Is Set Up?

No. There is no downtime required for Morph setup.

Which Currency Will I Be Billed In?

Billing is handled by the Epos Now App Store, which supports major currencies. The sign-up morph shows you the equivalent price in your local currency.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

Morph is billed month to month. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app from the Epos Now App Store.

Who Handles Support?

Slynk handles Morph support directly.

What Are Your Support Hours?

Support is provided in normal UK working hours, 9am to 5pm, excluding bank and public holidays.

How Do You Handle Updates on Epos Now?

We keep track of Epos Now updates and apply any required changes to our integration services on our side.
